The TWELV time-telling system also gave rise to the Chronaissance™ birthstone watch, and we are pleased to announce that a "Notice of Allowance" was received from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in April 2007.

The Chronaissance watch indicates the current month, not by standard month dial, but by revealing the actual, authentic gemstone that has been assigned to the given month by the American Gem Society as the birthstone for that month. For instance, if the birthstone depicted above were a diamond, the time displayed would be 12:15, some day in April.
